Prayer Teams

1. This is a congregation where virtually each family is prayed for every day by someone through the unique prayer triplet groups. The Family Prayer Triplet changes each time a new church phone directory is published.
2. For crisis situations a prayer chain of 15 people is willing to go to God at the drop of a phone call from the administrator.
3. The women's ministry also conducts extensive prayer within and without its fellowship.
4. A small group holds a prayer time prior to every Sunday worship service.
5. Another small group of individuals meets every Wednesday during the noon hour for prayer and fasting for the needs of Three Rivers Church attenders and the world.
6. Volunteers are involved in a once-a-month 24-hour prayer vigil for America, praying on the11th of each month throughout 2002.
7. Prayer is offered to God on behalf of special programs and projects, such as the annual "Who Moved the Stone?" outdoor Easter pageant.
8. Short term missions outreaches receive prayer support from the congregation.
9. Prayer is made for our individual junior and senior high students as part of the church Youth Ministry.
10. A select group of people participate in the 40-day-long Seek the God for the City prayer and fasting program during the Lenten season; the annual National Day of Prayer in May, and Pray for the Persecuted Church across the world in November.
11. Each member is encouraged to keep a prayer V.I.P. list of people in their web of relationships that need salvation through Jesus Christ.
